Ward is the brainchild of brothers Joe and Tom Casey. They set out with one goal, to finally make the trading card game everyone’s always wanted, but no big company would dare create. We wanted a game where creatures actually feel like they’re battling. A game with rich backstory, where every card means something. A game stripped of all the bloated mechanics and complexity that’s taken over the genre. Most of all, we wanted to bring back that feeling we all had as kids. The magic of opening your very first TCG pack and knowing you were about to experience something special.

In Ward, you’ll summon sci-fi and fantasy creatures to the battlefield in a fast-paced 1v1 combat system. Ward uses a streamlined, addictively fun, twist on tabletop RPG mechanics. It’s just you, your creatures, and some six-sided dice. Roll to hit! Roll for damage! Roll to victory!!!

Along with your creatures come magics. Magics Flip the game on its head or give you the edge, letting you boost your attacks, counter your opponent’s plays, or wipe the board clean.
